The Periodic Table
John 1:1 begins, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” If the Word is God, then words feel like a natural place to look for mystery.
My path to the periodic table began with a charity logo: “We Love God’s Children,” arranged in the shape of a cross. I wanted to put something beneath it, so I looked up GOLD in a dictionary. The entry listed a melting point of 1,063°C and a boiling point of 2,600°C. Added together, they make 3,663, which reads the same forwards and backwards. That symmetry caught my attention as did the 26, relating it to the English Alphabet
I began using A=1 through Z=26. So let's look at God as you can see G7 + O15 +D4 = 26. Then I simply go to the Periodic Table and the 26th element is Iron Fe. The same procedure is the same for all the below.
Alpha Omega = 79, Gold Au - Almighty Universe
God = 26, Iron (Fe) - Father Everlasting
JESUS = 74, tungsten (W) - The Word
LORD = 49, indium (In) - Immanuel Nazareth
CHRIST = 77, iridium (Ir) - Is Real
CREATOR = 80, mercury (Hg) - Holy Ghost
EVE = 32, germanium (Ge) - Garden Eden
EARTH = 52, tellurium (Te) - The Earth
Almighty = 95 Americium (Am) - Almighty Made
Judge = 47 Silver (Ag) - Almighty God
These are some of the letter totals and atomic numbers I compared.
Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. So we can agree the Bible clearly states God is within you.
So God = 26 Iron (Fe). Father Everlasting The Bible states God is in you Female, liFe, Fetus, Few, and Female.
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
In reading Corinthians 11:3 we see the head of Christ is God. So God is Iron Fe. So at the head of Iron is Ir look up Christ = 77 Ir. If you take Iron Fe and rearrange the letters it can be On Fire. The Bible states God is a consuming fire. Here you can see God Fe protecting Christ Ir.
I also noticed PERIODIC totals 79 and TABLE totals 40, making PERIODIC TABLE = 119. That brought Romans 1:19 and Romans 11:9 to mind.
Romans 1:19 says, “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.”
Romans 11:9 says, “And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them.” The chapter-and-verse numbers each give me 119 when read together: 1:19 and 11:9.
Two other passages stayed with me as I thought about numbers: Matthew 10:30 says that the hairs of your head are numbered, and Genesis 13:16 compares Abraham’s descendants to the dust of the earth, too numerous to count. They speak in their own contexts, but they made me think about the place of number in these connections.
I’ve shown the chart again so you can take a closer look. H, element 1, brings Heaven to my mind, and He, element 2, brings Heaven and Earth to mind. The three elements shown as missing on this older chart are 113, 115, and 117. Their numbers add to 345. I don’t know why, but that made me look at elements 3, 4, and 5. Their symbols are Li, Be, and B. Rearrange all the letters in Li + Be + B, and they spell BIBLE.
I also spell words using symbols from the periodic table. Take INRI, the inscription seen on crucifixes in Catholic churches. The first part is In, the symbol for indium, element 49. Using A=1 through Z=26, LORD also totals 49. The second part is Ir, the symbol for iridium, element 77. CHRIST totals 77. Flip Ir backward, and the symbols spell In + rI = INRI.
Together, the atomic numbers add to 49 + 77 = 126, matching the letter total of LORD CHRIST. That brings me back to Genesis 1:26: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” Reading the chapter and verse numbers without the colon gives 126. And the letters of GENESIS rearrange exactly into SEE SIGN.
To me, these connections point to Lord Christ being there at the beginning. What do you see?
It's just like the first usage of the word "WORD" in the Bible is Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. Just as a tidbit the Statue of Liberty is 151' coincidence you decide. Jesus Christ = 151
There is also Dmitri I. Mendeleev, the Russian chemist who organized the known elements into a periodic table and predicted properties of elements not yet discovered. Rearrange the letters in DMITRI I MENDELEEV and they spell I’M ELEMENT DIVIDER. I see that exact anagram as God’s wordplay.
For me, these connections keep returning to words, numbers, and the periodic table. What do you see in them?
Now it’s your turn. Try spelling WIN, FEW, and WRITE using element symbols. You may read a symbol forward or backward, but you must spell the entire word without adding or leaving out letters. Capitalization doesn’t matter. Once you have spelled each word, add the atomic numbers of the elements you used, not the A=1–Z=26 letter values.
Start with WIN. What does your total bring to mind? For me, it recalls a famous song.
Then try FEW. The Bible says, “many are called, but few are chosen.” Spell the word with element symbols, then total their atomic numbers.
Finally, try WRITE. To me, this one connects back to the Bible itself. What do you notice?
