Creation: The Blueprint and the Building

When you build a house, when is the creation complete: when the blueprint is finished, or when the last wall is painted? I see the blueprint as the creation of the idea. The hammer and nails put that idea into motion.

That distinction changes how I read Genesis. The Bible describes the earth as “without form, and void” in Genesis 1:2. Could that be like a plan that exists before it has been fully carried out? A blueprint doesn't have to list every building task in the order workers will do it.

Science tells us the Sun formed before Earth. Rather than treating that as the end of the conversation, I wonder whether the order of an idea and the order of its implementation might be different. 

So when I think about the Big Bang, my question is whether it was a random event or part of a controlled process. And there's a word connection I notice: the letters in CREATOR can be rearranged to spell REACTOR.

The Creation Process

  • First is the thought, normally with the end in mind.
  • The last country might be the first designed.
  • A time line is built from the beginning to reach the end.
  • It's like the first shall be the last and the last the first.

So when designing a home we have no clue the order of the design. The Architect could design the second floor before the first, the bathroom before the kitchen. When God designed the earth chances are his first thought was the last implemented. So while science can reconstruct much of the physical sequence, it cannot tell us the order in which a Creator may have conceived the design. So God could of created it in six days, but implementing it took years.

My own interpretation is that America may have been part of the design from the beginning, even if it appeared late in recorded history. There has to be a reason that American when rearranging the letters comes to Main Race. To me, ‘MAIN RACE’ does not mean one ethnicity above another. It suggests the human race itself: in God’s eyes, ancestry and skin color do not determine a person’s destiny.

Another connection I notice in the Earth

NASA lists Earth’s equatorial diameter as about 7,926 miles. I split that number into 79 and 26. Gold (Au) has atomic number 79, and iron (Fe) has atomic number 26.

Using A=1 through Z=26, ALPHA adds to 38 (1 + 12 + 16 + 8 + 1), and OMEGA adds to 41 (15 + 13 + 5 + 7 + 1). Together, ALPHA OMEGA adds to 79. GOD adds to 26 (7 + 15 + 4).

There is also an anagram: GOLD IRON AU FE can be rearranged to spell GOD OUR FINALE. This step uses both the names of the elements and their chemical symbols.

These are connections I notice as I explore the elements, numbers, and words. What do you make of them?
